Rachel Mochizuki
Hi, I'm so glad you're here! I'm passionate about supporting individuals and couples with kindness and deep care. To me, healing begins in a space of collaborative trust and authenticity. I bring empathy, curiosity, and a grounded warmth—often with a little humor—to our work together, creating a place where you can feel wholly accepted as you are.
My approach is rooted in honoring relational healing, systemic social justice, and humility. The relationships and systems that surround us carry deep wisdom, shaping who we are. This includes influences from family, culture, community, and the wider world we live in. Honoring your embodied experiences means embracing these influences while weaving cultural understanding, family dynamics, and anti-oppressive values into your healing journey.
I also include body-centered and somatic practices, knowing that healing often entails more than just talking. With me, every part of your identity is honored so that you can feel empowered on your path to sustainable transformation.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating eating disorders, complex trauma, and relationship challenges with compassion and cultural awareness. Together, we explore how social systems and early experiences shape your well-being, while honoring your unique identities. As a decolonial therapist, I foster curiosity and collaboration to create a safe, empowering space where you feel supported and encouraged on your journey toward lasting healing.
