Are you the one everyone relies on, the one who keeps things running even when you are barely holding on. Maybe things look fine on the outside, but inside you feel anxious, exhausted, or unsure when you last felt like yourself. Maybe it has become hard to tell where your needs begin, because for so long, you have been focused on taking care of everyone else.
So many women grow up believing their worth comes from how much they can carry. Family, culture, and larger systems often teach us to stay quiet, stay useful, and stay strong. These messages shape how we move through the world, but they also shape how we move through ourselves. Over time, emotional stress can start to show up in physical ways—tension, fatigue, burnout, or pain that seems to come out of nowhere.
Therapy gives you a space to turn inward. Together, we will look at the roles you have taken on and why they formed. I use parts work to help you connect with the different sides of you, especially the ones that had to be strong, quiet, or invisible. We will slow things down and begin to build empathy for the younger self who had to adapt, the present self who keeps pushing forward, and the future self who is just beginning to ask for more. Reparenting may be part of this process, as we learn to offer your inner child the care and safety she may not have received.
Because stress does not live only in the mind, I also bring in somatic practices. When you have spent years overriding your body’s signals, it can be hard to know how to listen again. We will gently explore what your body is holding and begin to rebuild a relationship that feels grounded, safe, and compassionate. You are not broken for needing rest. You are allowed to soften. You are allowed to be seen.
My work is rooted in empathy, social justice, and the belief that healing is not about fixing yourself. It is about unlearning what no longer serves you and remembering who you were before the world told you who to be.
In September, I will begin training in expressive arts therapy. This will allow me to bring movement, imagery, and sound into sessions—tools that can speak when words are not enough.
No matter where we begin, this work is about honoring the parts of you that have been quiet for too long.
